You may find that it can be simple to become trapped in the day-to-day monotony of your responsibilities of your dental practice. Your priority should always be to your patients and their health, but it’s also important to make sure your dental marketing is being updated; otherwise you might find yourself with no more patients to care for!

4 Resolutions To Set For Your Dental Practice

Now is the ideal time to reassess your goals for your dental practice and how to implement them. You may need to set new goals or find new ways to meet existing goals. Below are a few tips from Dental Bookkeeping to make your practice more successful than ever for the New Year:

  • Have a Unique Selling Proposition – A unique selling proposition (known as a USP) is a simple phrase or sentence that clearly states to patients why they should choose your office over others. To create your USP, first ask yourself what sets your practice apart from others or what your priorities are. Keep your USP short, simple, and clear.
  • Make Realistic Promises – Try not to exaggerate your practice or your services. Making promises you can’t keep may initialing bring in new patients but, once they realize that your office has been exaggerated, you won’t be able to retain them.
  • Use Simple Language – Some dentists get too clinical when describing the procedures and services offered in their practices. This can go over your patients’ heads or make it seem as if you’re trying too hard. Be clear about the benefits of your practice and use language your consumer will understand.
  • Track Your Results –This is essential to the success of any marketing plan. The easiest way to track results is to ask your receptionist to ask new clients calling in how they learned about your office. Once you’ve found out what’s working and what isn’t, you can to fine-tune your marketing efforts.
