Postcards have been used in the dental field for many years; this is because they work! We understand that you, as a dentist, have a busy schedule and not much time to master the design and implementation of dental postcard design. Below we’ve provided a few tips on successfully creating the perfect dental postcard for your practice.
Creating A Successful Dental Postcard
- Headline – Your headline should be simple and clear. Skip any artistic or humorous headlines, which may be lost on some potential patients. An example of a simple headline would be “Quality Dental Care At An Affordable Price.” This is simple, clear, and will catch a potential patient’s eye.
- Benefits – Highlight the benefits of your office. Stay away from talking about the technology and equipment in your office, which can go over a patient’s head. Simply explain the reasons a patient should choose you!
- Logo – Your logo is the face of your dental office, which means it should be prominently featured. Don’t make it too large, but ensure that it’s identifiable.
- Offers – The best way to motivate a patient into scheduling an appointment is by making a limited time offer. This offer could include:
- Free exam for new patients
- Free electric toothbrush with a new patient cleaning & exam
- $50 off any restorative procedures
- Free teeth cleaning for kids
- Contact Info – This is the most important part of your dental postcard. Include your office phone number, email address, social media URLs, and your website URL. This information should be easy to read and find on the postcard.
